About

The Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) Edmonton Zone offers programs in downhill skiing and snowboarding. Our programs are aimed at instructing individuals with physical, sensory and/or cognitive disabilities in the various adapted skiing techniques which include visually impaired skiing/snowboarding, 3 track skiing, 4 track skiing, and sit skiing. Adapted specialized ski/snowboard equipment may be used in some or all of the described techniques. Our volunteer instructors are trained in adaptive ski instruction as developed by the CADS national certifying body.
